Living Brass
- Crafted in close collaboration with Insidesign, this project showcases Timbart’s dedication to artisan-quality craftsmanship and the poetic power of natural materials. Every element was custom-designed and carefully executed — a celebration of timeless design, honest finishes, and exceptional detail. At the heart of the interior stands a sculptural bookshelf system built from solid brass, its architectural frame brushed by hand and left unlacquered to allow a natural, ever-evolving patina to form over time. This living surface gives the space depth and quiet character, echoing the beauty of materials allowed to age gracefully.
- Complementing the shelving, Timbart created a set of bespoke dining and breakfast tables, combining brass and wooden bases with carefully selected marble tops. Additional side tables and coffee tables follow the same design language — refined proportions, tactile finishes, and a focus on purity in form. To harmonize the atmosphere, the parquet flooring was custom-tinted, enhancing the warmth of the brass and grounding the interior in an elegant, cohesive palette. Every finish is natural, every detail intentional. Treated exclusively with natural oils, the brass remains authentic and alive — never sealed, never static. The result is a space that feels crafted, soulful, and enduring; a testament to Timbart’s commitment to quality, materiality, and bespoke design.
